Creating sensory safe routines and environments at school.

This training equips Sencos and school staff with foundational knowledge and practical strategies to support sensory regulation for all pupils, including those with sensory processing differences. Led by an SEN OT, the session focuses on creating sensory-safe environments and embedding sensory-friendly routines and strategies into the school day. Participants will learn how to identify sensory needs, reduce environmental triggers, and implement proactive approaches that promote regulation, attention, and emotional wellbeing. The training is designed to be inclusive, and easily integrated into everyday classroom practice.
